I sure did! We went into Edmonton shopping and out to a Valentine's dinner as hubby was away for Valentines. I did have to work on Sunday, but that gave hubby a chance to spend some time with the kiddies

It's challenge time at My Craft Spot. This time it's challenge #45 Shaped Birthday Cards.
Make sure you head on over to the My Craft Spot blog to check out what the other DT members have made. Then make your own shaped birthday card and link up for your chance at a fabulous prize!
My son Tyler's birthday is on Thursday and he is a real gamer. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYLER!! He just loves the Xbox! So I thought this card would be perfect for him.
Here's what I came up with....
Recipe:
Game Controller cut at 3 3/4 inches from Wrap it up Cartridge
Shimmer Paper - Recollections
Cardstock - Papertrey Ink
Outside Sentiment - My Craft Spot-Build a Valentine
Inside Sentiments - My Craft Spot-Inside & Out #2 and Sweet Sentiment #2

Also used atg gun, memento ink, versa mark ink, heat gun, clear embossing powder, stickles and glossy accents
I checked the buttons on his controller to get the colors right. I embossed the sentiment on the front as it was shimmer paper and regular ink wouldn't stay put.
I just love glossy accents.
I just love glossy accents.
Can't wait to see what you create!
I am entering this into some challeges ; Wags n Whiskers-Masculine birthday ; Paper Sundaes-Birthdays ; Card Makin' Mamas-Happy Birthday ; Creative Card Crew-Masculine ; Dream Valley-Just for Men
