Explosion Box

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a few days because I was busy with a project. An explosion box for my mother's 65th birthday. It's a big day so I figured it deserved a great gift. I got the idea from Momo who got the specs from The Canadian Nickel on youtube. I must say the hardest thing about this box was actually picking the papers.
I asked my Mom what her favorite colors were and she said, yellow, pink, purple and blue. She also loves butterflies, flowers and glitter. A girl after my own heart. LOL. I really enjoyed making this box and once I started I just couldn't stop I wanted  to get to the finished project. I love it. I sure she will shed a tear or two. Love you Mom and Happy Birthday!!!
I used thickers, DCWV papers, stickles, stickers and ribbon from my stash, sentiments from Pink by Design, Hero Arts, Amy R stamps, Inkadinadoo, my corner chomper, white gel pen.
This post will be long I have lots of pics to post. Enjoy!!

I usually have a hard time with bows as I haven't done many. I think this one turned out ok.

The view as soon as you take the cover off.

I thought this was cute as my Mom loves tea and it goes well with this pic of my Dad.

Used my punches to get all three pics of my kids on one page.

My Mom and I both love bingo!

A pic from her last birthday.

Our little family wishing her Happy Birthday.

A pic of me. I made a pocket to put a personal letter I wrote to my Mom for her birthday.

We both love to shop. Who doesn't??? LOL

My Mom and her bestie Debbie.

Me and my hubbie and then an older pic of Mom and me.

Well I hope you all enjoy my Explosion Box. Thanks for stopping by and please leave me a comment. I would also love it if you became a follower. Don't forget you can click on any of the pics to take a closer look.  :) Candy
