My Craft Spot - Challenge #31 - See Through Projects

*****CLICK HERE FOR MY 100 FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY!!*****
Hey everyone!
It's challenge time over at My Craft Spot - Challenge #31 - See Through Projects - use acetate or other clear products.
I decided to make a card using acetate. I love the look of embossing on acetate so, I used my mini monsters embossing folder. Just right for a halloween card, with all those little candies on it. I got the piece of acetate from the overlay that covered my cricut mat. Recycle!

Now make sure you head over to My Craft Spot and link up your projects for a chance to win a great prize and to see what the other fabulous Design Team members have created!! You won't be disappointed!
You can purchase the stamps I used on my card there and she also has some other fantastic stamps sets, hand dyed crinkle ribbon, bakers twine and the new seam binding ribbon.

Recipe:
Standard A2 size card
Patterned Paper - DCWV
Cardstock - Papertrey Ink
Sentiments - My Craft Spot - Happy Hauntings
Inside spider stamp - Studio G
Embossing folder - Mini Monsters
Scene Stamp - Martha Stewart stamp set
Bat embellie from Recollections
I also used black embossing powder, heat gun, atg, scor tape, black memento ink, yellow and grey bic markers

I cut this mat on the inside the same size as the one on the front so you couldn't see it when the card is closed. Love the font on this sentiment.
This embossed acetate is really hard to photograph. Hope you can see all those little candies embossed on there.
I embossed the sentiments and the scene stamp with black embossing powder. Love that look.

First Design Team Post for My Craft Spot

*****CLICK HERE FOR MY 100 FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY!!*****
Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a fabulous day. I know I am . Today is my first post for the Design Team over at My Spot Craft.
Today  is challenge #30 - 3D Halloween. So I pulled out my Mini Monsters cartridge and made a little monster treat bag. I cut it out in purple(of course) cardstock first but it was too plain. So, I cut out a piece of polka dot paper on the diagonal and inked around it and glued it to the treat box front. I think he turned out great.

Okay, now make sure you head over to My Craft Spot to see what the other Design Team members have made. And join in the fun!! Link your project for a chance to win an awesome prize.

Recipe:
Treat bag cut at 5 1/2 inches from the Mini Monsters cartridge
Cardstock - Recollections and Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper - K & Company
Sentiment - My Craft Spot - Happy Haunting
Crinkle Ribbon - My Craft Spot - Smokey Black
Also used glossy accents, diamond stickles, white gel pen, scor tape, atg, white embossing powder, heat gun, memento ink and 2 way glue pen

I used Kimberly's crinkle ribbon on the top of the treat box to look like hair. I used diamond stickles on the little horns.
I used white embossing powder for the sentiment and then covered it with glossy accents. Love that little piece of candy from recollections.
Now head on over to My Craft Spot and link up your 3D halloween projects!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Please leave me a comment. I love hearing from you.

I am going to enter this card into a few challenges I've seen. Die Cutttin Divas challenge #36 National Dessert Day ; RCC24 - Sparkle and Bling ; Frosted Designs -Fabulous Friday challenge - Fancy Trims.

You Are My Blue Sky

*****CLICK HERE FOR MY 100 FOLLOWER GIVEAWAY!!*****

Hey everyone!
I made this little card for a co-worker. My first order!! It's for her son who is still living in Mexico. He is supposed to be proposing to his girlfriend in a hot air balloon next week. How sweet!! So, I thought this card would be appropriate. She said he is going to be 34 but he is still her little baby. So I thought the sentiment was perfect.

Recipe:
Standard A2 size card
Patterned paper - Kaiser Craft
Cardstock - Recollections and Papertrey Ink
Balloon cut at 3 1/4 inches from the Everyday Pop-up Cards Cartridge
Sentiment - Pink by Design
Twine - Pink by Design
Also used glossy accents, diamond stickles, white gel pen, atg, dimensionals, colorbox and memento inks, clear glitter pen. zip dry glue and two way glue pen.

I used my favorite diamond stickles on the clouds.

She wanted it more personalized. She calls her son Benji so I added that with Papertrey Ink stamps.
I also changed the inside to be more personal. I used My Creative Time's alphabet for his name. Papertrey Ink and Pink by Design stamps as well.

Well thanks for stopping by today. Please leave me a comment and if you like what you see become a follower if you are not already.
Take care,

Purple Love
