Hey everyone!
Hope you are all having a fabulous day!
It's my turn to share today at the
She's a Sassy Lady blog! Thanks so much Sheila for having me. It's great to be back!
I wanted to share with you today my NEW CRAFT ROOM! So excited for you all to see my new space. It's quite a bit smaller than my last room (9 x 10 and the old room was 14 x 16) but I made it work.
The wall color hasn't been changed. We left it the same as the previous owners had it. It works perfect for my craft room.
First I am going to show you some pics of what it looked like before I unpacked all the boxes. What a mess! It took awhile but I finally got it just the way I want it. With no wasted space.
There were seventeen more boxes that held my jetmax cubes as well. I made sure to unpack those first because there was no way all that was going to fit in this tiny room. I just unpacked them as the movers brought them in.
What a mess!!
So many boxes!!!
NOW FOR THE AFTER!!! YAY!
On my desk are my essential, everyday tools in that tote, atg gun, scotch tape, acrylic blocks, copics, and paper trimmer. This wall stores my inks in a shelf my daughter Carlie made for me.As well as my buttons, extras small pieces of ribbon, xyron, i-rock and supplies and a couple of cards I've made as well as some special trinket boxes from friends. Also the
name sign/plate I made.
The table I got from Ikea and under it in the filing cabinet are my 8 x 8 paper pads, extra cardstock and my paper scraps as well as my stamp presses. My cricut cartrides are all under there as well in some totes I got from ebay. In the drawers on the left are finger daubers, stamp cleaner, glitters, stickles, embossing powders and supplies, more inks and cords for machines. Far right plastic tote holds printer paper, magazines and patterned paper scraps.
I put my Imagine on my desk as I lost the unit that it used to be stored on. Now I just pull down my Explore and sit it on top of my Imagine when I want to use it. My Expression will be sitting on the shelf above the Explore as soon as I can get hubby to put it up.
All of my cutting machines as well as my cuttlebug, big shot, cinch, printer and tissue box cover are all covered by cozies made by
Kathy`s Cozies. They are so awesome! She also made my curtain. Thanks Kathy!!
My gel nail certificate and the
spice rack I repurposed for my mini buttons, brads and sequins.
That top shelf now holds my Willow Tree figurines and some wedding momentos.
In the six cubes are flowers, chocolates, laces and trims, empty containers and thing for giveaways. On top are my Stamps of Life and My Creative Time dies.
Also in this corner are markers, copic airbrush kit, and pencil crayons.
Everything is pretty much in easy reach!
My pink Christmas tree on top of my paper storage my husband made for me.
New floor model clip it up that holds most of my clear stamps. Love it! I used to have 3 base units with top tier clip it ups but traded them out for this floor model and saved a lot of space.
Cuttlebug with a
Kathy's Cozy, decorative scissors, xyron and pearls and pins.
Lamp I decorated.
My Stamps of Life stamps, ribbon, ink, punch, adhesive and 6 x 6 paper pads and 12 x 12 paper storage. These Jetmax are fantastic!
And remember to label as much as you can because if you don't know where your goodies are, how are you supposed to find them to use them?? Organization is the key to happiness! LOL! At least in my craft room!
I also have all my special cards on this wall as well as my hunk calendar that you can't see(unfortunately for you) at this angle.
I bought these bygel rails from IKEA before we moved from Alberta for my Martha Stewart punches. And look still a little room to grow! LOL!No wasted space here. Saw this on a youtube video(sorry don`t remember the channel) a while back, using the space behind the door.
New spinning DVD shelf to now hold my La La Land Crafts and Greeting Farm stamps and another lamp I decorated.
I'm still using Ethan's baby change table for storage of my cinch, dies, Imagine cartridges, Christmas/Halloween/Easter goodies, rubber stamps, felt, boas, envelopes, beads and my Tudors DVD collection, as well as my inventory binder. I got hubby to add a few extra screws to it as it was getting a little loose and shaky. Great repurpose.
Another shelf added above to now hold my printer as well, covered by a
Kathy's Cozy. I love my new curtain! Can't forget my Tony Vegas painting!
Inside my closet. I've used every inch of space right up to the ceiling. Mostly gel nail supplies on that top shelf as well as things I would rarely go to. Second shelf holds extra adhesive, my son Ethan's crafting supplies and empty containers and totes.
I have to keep my bin of boots and all my shoes in this closet as there is not as much storage space in this new house. My babies are all in one spot. LOL! In the right corner there is my nail table and behind that is my cricut tote.
For everyone who has seen my last craft room, you would have seen that I had 4 jet max cubes on either side of my crafting desk. This new room didn't have the room for that. So I put those 8 cubes in this formation in front of my gorgeous window and placed a melamine table top from IKEA($20) on top of them to now use as my new die cutting station. On top is my bigshot covered with a
Kathy's Cozy and my camera tripod.
These jetmax holds all of my 12 x 12 patterned paper stacks, matstacks, and taller 6 x 6 paper pads as well as embossing folders, bigshot plates and dies, extra ink for Imagine, crimper, chipboard, p-touch, glue guns, hotknife, sprays and misc supplies.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Take care,
