My Craft Spot Challenge #49 - Spring Scallops

Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a fabulous day!
I want to share with you my Design Team entry for challenge #49 at My Craft Spot - Spring Scallops.
Make a spring card and be sure to add scallops. Now head on over to the My Craft Spot blog to check out what the other design team members have made!
Here's what I came up with...

Recipe:
Scallop card cut at 5 1/2 inches from the Wild Card cartridge & Mini Monograms for the circle layers
Sentiments-My Craft Spot-Sweet Sentiments#2
Patterned Paper- Echo Park
Cardstock - Recollections and Papertrey Ink
Martha Stewart Grass Punch, Fence Punch, Leaf Punch
Scallop Spellbinders
Jolee's Bee
Peachy Keen Corny Faces
I used my white gel pen to color in the eyes and to doodle. I put glossy accents over the eyes and used pink chalk on the cheeks.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Can't wait to see what you create.
I am entering this into some challenges; Little Scrap Pieces-Make it Happy ; Fantabulous Cricut-Celebrate Spring
Take care,

Thanks a Ton Card

I made this card tonight to enter into some challenges. http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com Sketch week challenge 22, http://cricut360.blogspot.com - challenge 2, a circle thank you card, http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com - plentiful patterns challenge, use favorite patterns and peachy keen stamps.
I made the doily card from the wild card cartridge cut at 5 3/4. The elephant was cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge cut at 3 1/2. I used my gypsy to hide the eyes on the elephant so I could use the Peachy Keen stamps for the eyes. The pattern papers are from DCWV- Animal Crackers, Nana's Kids and the Glitter Stack. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink.  I used my 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 scallop circle punches for the sentiment. The sentiment stamp is from Pink by Design. I used diamond stickles on the ears and tail and glossy accents on the mouth. I just love the sparkly toes. LOL!!

Hope you enjoy my card and please leave a comment. :) Candy

Throwback Thursday Challenge-Argyle Card

Hey everyone! Todays card is one I am entering into My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday challenge, http://creativetimeforme.com. We had to use the wild card cartridge- I used the argyle card. We also had to use embossing somewhere on the card- I embossed my sentiment. It was my first time embossing so it was an adventure.(LOL)
I cut the card at 5 3/4. The cardstock is from Papertrey Ink and Recollections. The ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from Joy's Life.

I think the sentiment turned out well. The first time I made the sentiment it was quite messy. The second time I used a dryer sheet over the cardstock before stamping and that really did the trick. Embossing is not really that scary after all.(LOL) Hope you enjoy the card and please leave me a comment. :) Candy
