Late post today. I swear if my head wasn't attached I'd misplace it. LOL. 

Just wanted to share a few Valentines I made this year. 

I got the first idea from Kim. She made these cards for a made in minutes for the My Creative Time blog. I loved them so much I just had to recreate them. With some little extras of my own of course.

This one was made with a little boy in mind.

 Recipe:
Girl cut from Nifty Fifties
I made the background paper with a Pink by Design stamp
Sentiments-Pink by Design
Ribbon-Papertrey Ink
Buttons-Papertrey Ink and Stash

 I gave her a pearl earring and a gem button at her waist. I took my le plume black marker and inked up just the musical note and added one to her shirt and three to her skirt.

Made the same background paper with the jukebox stamp.

Nifty Fifties Birthday

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous week! Wow, I can't believe we are in March already. Before you know it, it's going to be summer. I sure hope so!!

I want to share with you today a card I made for a co-workers father for his birthday. She said he grew up on a farm, so this little truck should remind him of that. After I took the pics and before I gave Kim the card I added a cloud to the top left corner. I just couldn't stand it so bare there. It looked so much better.

Recipe:

Standard A2 size card

Truck cut at 2 1/4 inches from the Nifty Fifties cartridge

Cardstock and Sentiments - Papertrey Ink

Ribbon and brads from stash

D'vine Swirls embossing folder

Also used atg gun, dimensionals, glossy accents, memento inks, zip dry glue and 2 way glue pen

I used glossy accents on the window, bumpers and tires. I also used my finger dauber with some brown ink to grundge up the truck a little. I made the road centre line with some thin yellow ribbon. I used brads on the centre of the tires as hubcaps
