Hey everyone!
I made this little card for a co-worker. My first order!! It's for her son who is still living in Mexico. He is supposed to be proposing to his girlfriend in a hot air balloon next week. How sweet!! So, I thought this card would be appropriate. She said he is going to be 34 but he is still her little baby. So I thought the sentiment was perfect.
Recipe:
Standard A2 size card
Patterned paper - Kaiser Craft
Cardstock - Recollections and Papertrey Ink
Balloon cut at 3 1/4 inches from the Everyday Pop-up Cards Cartridge
Sentiment - Pink by Design
Twine - Pink by Design
Also used glossy accents, diamond stickles, white gel pen, atg, dimensionals, colorbox and memento inks, clear glitter pen. zip dry glue and two way glue pen.
I used my favorite diamond stickles on the clouds.
She wanted it more personalized. She calls her son Benji so I added that with Papertrey Ink stamps.
I also changed the inside to be more personal. I used My Creative Time's alphabet for his name. Papertrey Ink and Pink by Design stamps as well.

I love your Birthday card! It is so pretty. We get to see hot air balloons here for a few months each year. They take off from the fairgrounds which is not far away. When they fly over I know they will be landing soon. This card is so special. I am sure your friend will like it. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
